I've had several disputes with a television i was in the process of purchasing with Aaron's Rental and Lease. My television was taken from me for a month on repair and they still wanted me to pay. I had no remote and no features on my television after complaining several times and about 3 different repairmen come to repair my t.v i still donot have a working television and through it all i continued to pay my fees. finally the repairmen even refused to fix the problem. after making reports to the corp office,BBB, and several managers i still donot have a proper 60' working television. on my last payment i refused to pay because my t.v was still not repaired. I have men coming to my home attempting to take my t.v and constant harrasment on the telephone about this final payment, but no one has said anything about repairing my television. Aarons is not professional, they dont respect their customers they donot stand by their word. Im still here with my broken t.v and more than likely it will be on my credit report and im furious. something need to be done about aarons ripping people off. BBB never contacted me back on the matter Im hoping that some how we can file a civil suit are something where all the customers of this rip off company could be satisfied.

The Aarons store should have given you the use of a loaner television while your original television went to a service center. Service can sometimes take several weeks. In the meantime Aaron's would expect regular payments to continue while you are using the loaner. Even if you payoff your agreement your warranty coverage continues thru Aaron's for an additional 60 days after the payoff date of your agreement. If your original television is for some reason unfixable, that store should replace it with a television of similar size and condition. As for the BBB--they are not the ultimate test of any companies integrity in the workplace. Companies can simply pay the BBB to be listed with them and they often solicit companies to pay them to be listed with them. Aaron's does not report in any way to credit bureaus nor do they run a credit report to approve someone that is leasing with them. Bottom line is that Aaron's store that you are dealing with should get that televsion fixed to your satisfaction--ask to speak with the regional manager of that store if you haven't already.
