I purchased an engine from this company, because they offered a two year warranty if their company did the installation.   They said we could pay with a credit card check to their mechanic.   When we got there, the mechanic demanded cash.  This is the first sign that something is dreadfully wrong. When we got the engine put in, my husband drove it 50 miles, it overheated.  I called the company.  They sent a tow truck out right away.  You'd think this would be good, no?

They somehow managed to burn through two spark plug wires, which they say caused the engine to overheat.  They replaced two brand new high end spark plug wires with used spark plug wires.

The check engine light never went out.  Called their mechanic.  He swore it had nothing to do with the engine.  He said he would fix it when we brought it in for a free 500 mile oil change.  When my husband brought it in to be serviced, they charged for the oil change, cleared the code, and sent him on the way.  Of course, the check engine light came back on within 30 miles.  Their mechanic claims it has nothing to do with the engine, of course, and is not covered by warranty.

The car overheated.  We brought the engine in to our home mechanic, 500 miles away.  Turns out they bent pipes to the heater core re-installing the engine, used old heater hoses,  and generall did a shoddy installation. I can understand not installing new hoses for free, but, really, this is so simple when the engine is out, and should be done.  I would have been happy to pay! Their mechanic swears he does a great job, and he is just persecuted by all the bad reviews he gets on the internet.  He is so persecuted, he has had to change his business name to stay ahead of the bad reviews, and the name on the invoice i got was not the name on his shop.

Did i mention that i purchased this through e-bay, and then was brought off site?  Could not post a bad review.  Now the seller is no longer on e-bay.  I guess he got found out for fraud.  The engine we got is not that great, and for the little we saved, we are paying through the nose for repairs for bad work.  Avoid these idiots like the plague.  It may cost more somewhere else, but in the long run, youi'll save.
