HL pretends to be an investor looking for films to invest in but he is a preditor who is really looking to learn the business and get money from you. He will try to option the rights to your film to tie up your film rights. He doesn’t know anything about filmmaking except what he has learned from speaking to various people. He has been trying to con filmmakers since 2012 maybe even longer. I have gotten emails from various filmmaker that have dealt with him. One filmmaker said he approached him twice and disappeared both times. If you ask him to show proof of funds he will not do it. He also has a very slick attorney that knows nothing about the film industry who seems to cover for him. He will however ask you for money which an investor will never do. If you IMDB he has absolutely no credits there, if you search him or his company you won’t find anything. If you ask him for a Bio he doesn’t have one that is legitimate. HL is a fraud and con man please do not do business with this guy.
