Went unto IRS website to electronic file taxes for 2005. It had several sites available to file taxes. I choose 24hrtaxrefund.

It said that you will receive refund within 24hrs. That did not happen. Was unable to reach them took two weeks for me to receive my refund. I kept calling the bank who they said was responsible for deposit my refund to my account.

At first I was speaking to someone in another country not the USA. They told be to contract my filer which I wasn't able to do. I left several e-mails telephone message to them but nothing.

Then I spoke to a person from Delaware HSBC bank this women was so helpful to me. She was able to get my funds release in mail to me.

24taxrefund was suppose to do my State taxes also which they never did. They charge me $179.00 and they did not send me any copies of my filing information still to this day I have heard nothing.

I used this service last year along with others. None of us received a 24hr return. But we did read the fine print which said "Subject to credit approval, you should receive your refund in 24hrs". This is a loan you receive for your pending tax return. Seeing that your credit was not approved you received most of your return. Over all the site was very good and responed timly to email response. Sorry you had a bad experience. I will be using this service in a couple of weeks.

Never heard of them

#3Consumer Suggestion

You said you found this company on the IRS web site? I have never heard of them.

Just a suggestion, but for 2 years I have used TaxCut to file my taxes online. The federal efile is free and my state only costed $12.95. There are no overnight refunds, but my state refund was in my bank in less than a week. The federal took about two weeks. Give them a try next year.
