Complaint Review: 1800 Popcorn Owned by David Blackstone

 David Blackstone came to Canada to sell at the CNE. Where he hired all young black people and ripped us all off. We all worked everyday minimum hours beings at 10 hours a day. There was this one female whom had two yound kids at home. He had her working cash as she was the only one who knew how to. She worked everyday 10-12 hours away from her children. When it came to pay day at the end of the week he wanted to only pay her $460. Note minimum wage there is $11.25/hour. She had worked 79 hours that week and over time pay starts after 40 hours. An arguement broke out and the police were called. He then turned and paid her $670, stating it was too much. He literally took food money out of this females pockets for her and her kids food and etc. We were all trying to take him to court. When we found out he left the county and headed back to New York after short paying us all. Do not work for 1800 Popcorn or trust David Blackstone. He is a theif and a rip off.
